Andrea is the founder of Everybody Physical Therapy. She completed her Masters of Science in Physical Therapy (MSPT) in May 2001, and then received her DPT (Doctor of Physical Therapy) in January 2002 at Pacific University. While at Pacific she completed a thesis that addressed the benefits of physical therapy on urinary incontinence. She also worked with a well known local women's health physical therapist during one of her clinical rotations. After school she worked for a large hospital in Portland focusing on outpatient orthopedics and women's health. While working for this organization she received the highest clinical award offered, of “Level II Therapist specializing in Women's Health”. In 2005 she opened Everybody Physical Therapy in NW Portland. She opened the second location in Vancouver, WA in 2008.
Andrea has taken numerous continuing education courses to improve her skills in both orthopedic and women's and men's health issues. She is very passionate about making the public aware of the successful treatments available for pelvic floor related diagnoses. Andrea believes that physical therapy is a team approach and strives to really involve her patients in their treatments. The goal is for the patient to learn about their body and master the tools that can assist in recovery and returning to function.
Andrea is a former executive board member of the Oregon Physical Therapy Association.
